Another blast from the past......and I ship fast! Here is a bit of R/C racing history. OLD Heathkit 1/8 scale nitro R/C car with original radio. I think it is a Spectre series Ford GT40. From the late 1960s or early 1970 era. Made to race with old Associated , Thorp ETC. Please read entire description before bidding. Car is not complete. It has no fuel tank, motor, steering tie rods and assorted linkage parts. Chassis is straight with no damage and some minor marks with no deep scratches on bottom. It is a steel chassis that I think is zinc plated. Some discoloring. Can be cleaned up or plated again for the restorer. Front spring suspension. Diff/spur gear is fine. It comes with the clutch & flywheel assembly, brake with linkage, motor mount, radio box with no cracks and original body. The body is rock solid with a small crack on the front right and 3 small rips at the very rear. Easy repair. Windows were never cut out and it has the original decals. Can be stripped and repainted Firestone logo tires show no wear, rot or flat spots. Front wheels have nice condition chrome looking plating. Rears look like they have been painted gold.
