Beautiful vintage gold Florentine wood wastebasket. It still has the original "Florentia Hand Made in Italy" on the bottom. Two of the sides have different Italian scenes, and the other two sides have a gold and pale green design. Overall in very good vintage condition. The gold gilt finish has a nice patina with minimal wear. There is an antique rub over the entire outside of the wastebasket. The inside in painted gold. There are no chips or cracks in the wood. Both the top and the bottom have scalloped edges. Rectangle in shape, It measures 11-1/2" x 9" and is 13" tall.
