Vintage nativity set made in Italy. Not sure what it's made of -- not plastic, not papier mache, but some sort of composition material. The set includes the stable and 19 figures: Mary, Joseph and JesusThree Kings and one angelThree shepherds and a camel tenderCamel, donkey, ox and five sheep The figures are in terrific shape, with only two spots of damage: on the hair of the shepherd holding his sheep and along the hat brim of the guy playing the bagpipe. Other than that, t are no cracks, chips or other damage. The tallest king is 4 3/4 inches tall; Mary is 3 1/2 inches tall. The stable is very cool, with faux rocks on one side of the roof and straw on the other. It has stairs to the terrace on the right and the little triangle on the front behind the angel's feet is hinged . It is 14 1/2 inches at its widest point, 9 1/2 inches tall at the peak, and stamped Made in Italy on the back.
