Vintage Japanese Scroll Painting Moonlight on Temple A vintage Japanese Kakejiku hanging scroll art painting, MOONLIGHT ON TEMPLE. Painted on paper with paper mounting. Approx. size not including roller-ends is 18" x 77". Artist and age are unknown to me. Sold as-is. See below for conditions information. This is a vintage item. It is listed in the Unknown age section of the antiques category. Because of item specific traits it fits best there. Conditions most noticeable to me are: Numerous little spots and stains on painting, light in nature. Mounting is in clean and good condition with just a little wrinkling and creasing. It does not lay completely flat along the sides, which is not uncommon with many scrolls. These conditions and more are normal and natural for vintage hanging scroll paintings. You may also find less noticeable wear, mounting flaws and fabric irregularities as this is hand-made artwork. Please carefully judge conditions from the photos. Other than possible minor lighting/color balance differences, what you see in the photos is what you will get. I rate this fine artwork in good condition overall. This is vintage hand-made art.
