Up for sale is a set of 4 vintage "Valiant Aircraft Color-Etch Prints" signed by John Berkey. This is a collector's portfolio of World War II Aircraft. The 4 aircraft are as follows: 1) Navy F4F Wildcat, 2) P-38 Lightning, 3) B-24 Liberator, and 4) Curtiss P-40. The actual measurement of the color etch foil is 7 1/2" wide by 5 3/4" tall. They are mounted on an ecru card stock 8 x 10 mount - ready for framing. They are in Very Good vintage condition with no tears. Each picture is signed "Berkey" with a little USA stamp above each signature except for the P-38 Lightning - I don't see the USA stamp but the "Berkey" signature is present. They come packaged in a paper sleeve that opens to hold the 4 prints and gives a short history of the aircraft. The outside of the sleeve lists John Berkey's name as the artist. The sleeve has yellowed with age and has a few minimal tears in its edges. Please e-mail me with any questions you may have and thank you for looking!
