Hi This Auction features PEWTER: JOHN SOMERS BRASILIAN PEWTERA BEAUTIFUL, VINTAGE PEWTER GRAVY BOAT/LADLEIt is about 2.5 inches tall and about 5 inches in diameter. Measured across the handle it is 9.5 inches. Weighs about 13 ounces. The handle is wood, probably Jacaranda but I'm not sure.This is a beautiful piece. Enjoy it!!I lived in Brasil from 1975 to 1983 and acquired a lot of "stuff". I have a bunch of John Somers pewter pieces listed. I believe I acquired these in 1978 - 79. I can't recall ever using any of these pieces but I may have. They were on shelf display in Brasil and again in Europe. From about 1989 until now they have been packed in boxes. The wife and I decided that they would probably just stay packed forever so we decided to offer them to someone who has a grander plan for them!! T is no reserve on this auction!! Most items will be shipped within one business day of payment clearing. I will combine multiple purchases to save on shipping w practical. Multiple listings must end within a 5 day window.
