Cool looking Junghans wall clock for repair. I found this clock in the shed of a retired clock repairman. I belive it had something nesting in it at one time. When i broke the clock down, i noticed a tar like substance along top of movement to bottom of the case inside. Didnt take me long to figure out what is was.... After a soaking in acetone, and cleaning, i noticed one mainspring was broken. At this point i gave up, i have enought on my plate. Movment seems to be moving free even though it has a bit of surface rust on the metal parts. Suspension spring was broken off. Pendulum looks to be original too the clock. Glass and bezel door intact. Nice looking dial, with only a light split running across the veneer. Hands intact just a bit tarnished. Mirrored backed birdcage surround of base looks nice. Had high hopes for this clock and put alot of effort into cleaning it out. Not going to venture all over to find the mainspring, so its up too new owner. Measures appox. 14 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches wide at the dial, 4 1/2 inches from the back of clock too the face of glass.
