This stunning Art Nouveau print is beautifully framed. The exotic print depicts an Asian garden scene. The print incorporates gold, ivory, violet and teal tones that are brilliantly contrasted by a black background. In the center of the scene is a luminous, serene woman. She is dressed in ivory robes and wears a gold featd headpiece in her hair. She is playing a zither or lyre and the pink blossoms from the tree under which she is sitting are falling all around her. A rose colored peacock is at her feet. Hanging from the tree are five glowing, paper lanterns. The scene is accentuated with violet and teal colorations that create a flowing effect in the print. The print is marked "K. Blackmore" in the lower right corner. The print measures 11" by 17 5/8". The print is in its original, elegant frame. The frame is made of wood and has a glass covering. The top of the frame is painted black and the carved edges are painted gold. The frame has a lovely patina. It measures 13 1/2" by 20". The piece is really in near mint condition. The colors of the print are very vibrant; as t are no areas with fading. The print does not have any tears, creases or warp.
