Around the 1970s, wooden kits were very popular. This oil well derrick or rig has already been assembled from such a kit. It is made entirely from wood and came from the Ken-Toy Products Company of Carrabelle, Florida. This particular piece is not marked; however, I have another that I keep on my desk, and it is marked. There is some glue showing on some parts. The derrick appears to have been built slightly askew (see pics). It is missing a small block of wood from the cross member, but you wouldn't know it unless you had another to compare it to. The wheel does not turn properly, not sure why. Great little display piece, especially if you are in the oil and gas business! Paypal only please. USA bidders only.
