Vintage 1939 Kollsman Aircraft Direction Indicator Compass, see attached photo of Feb 1939 Aero Digest describing it and that this type Compass was used by Howard Hughes in his Lockheed round the world flight prior to WW2....This compass requires no electrical power at a time most small aircraft lacked electrical system....I had this cleaned by an FAA inst. shop about 10 years ago but never installed it in an aircraft....Was stored away and its time to go to someone who is a collector of vintage aviation....S & H USA $15.00
