~For Your Consideration~ Up for auction is a Wonderful and Very rare vintage "Kool" brand cigarette advertising straight razor in Excellent condition A really unique collectable with the "Willy the Penguin" trade mark which was only used by Kool up until the 1960's Actual manufacturer is unknown to me, but most likely fashioned by Dovo or one of the other makers of the day who were known to stamp razors for retailers. The blade is free of any cracks or chips, and is in wonderful condition. Near Mint in my opinion, Possibly I am the first person to hone this since it left the factory. With only very slight hone wear, this lucky survivor was well cared for. Clean and shining, this wonderful example measures 7/8 from the top of the spine to the edge. Spike point, with beautiful scroll work vines deeply engraved into the spine. Gold Wash is mostly intact, which is very rare indeed for these blades, even more so than for the famous Dubl Duck Goldedge razors. Looks far better in person than it does in magnified photos. Please see photos for exact condition of the blade. Tang has very fine jimping on the underside for a more secure grip. Handles (scales) are the original black plastic in excellent condition with no cracks or chips, or warping. Closes straight and true. This razor comes SHAVE READY What I mean by "Shave Ready"
