This lovely large tomato ware teapot measures 4/12" tall, 9 1/2" wide from tip of handle to tip or spout, and 5 1/2" inches in across the center in diameter. It is hand painted with the teapot being shades of red like a tomato. It has a green stem for the handles and spout, with assorted green leaves for design. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Needs a bit of cleaning to get dust from storage off. It is how it left the factory 50+ years ago. It is stamped on the bottom under the glaze in black MARUHON ??? ( can't read the next word ) MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN. T is also a manufactures logo of a K inside a circle. (see photo) Collectors check out my other OCCUPIED JAPAN items !
