Please look over my detailed pictures carefully, and read my description. This will tell you the exact condition of the set. I do not grade, as grading is too subjective. This fantastic set of Postwar 1950's Lionel O gauge extruded aluminum lighted Streamline passenger set is in wonderful condition for its age. While they do show light play wear, they still looks fantastic. Yes there are some minor scratches and scuffs. Yes, one scratch has made a tiny indent in the aluminum. Yes, there is some rub wear on the painted plastic parts. Yes, there is a flaw in one of the panes on the vista dome car (see my pictures for all of the above). However, other than that, they are not damaged, bent, dented, corroded, rusted, cracked, modified or repaired. They are all complete with all of their "people" in the windows, and all of the riveted nameplates. All of the lettering is crisp and complete. Nothing is missing. The frames and trucks show very little wear. This set was just tested on an actual layout. All cars light beautifully, and all couplers worked. This is an incredibly striking set, going around the track. The light amount of play wear lends an air of believability, and these cars have a real presence.
