This is a vintage Masonic ring made out of 10K solid gold. There are six prominent prongs holding six 2 point diamonds. The prongs are also holding the black onyx center. There is the Mason's symbol mounted on the black onyx. (I can't tell if the symbol is solid gold). The symbol in turn is held on by a screwback. The screwback is not gold. Three of the diamonds have pieces chipped off of them. You can only see the damage with a magnifying glass. The ancient repair was to make the ring smaller. You can barely see were the ring was cut and resoldered. Some of the gold solder filled in the "K" on 10K. This is a marked 10K solid gold and acid tested ring. The ring is size 6 1/2. The ring weighs 8.5 grams or .27 ounces troy. Of course, that includes the brass screwback and black onyx which might weigh 1 gram combined.
