An electric toy engine made by the Manhattan Electric Supply Co (Mesco), ca. 1910 . The company made these in 3 sizes. This is model 1011, the larger of the 3. It measures approx. 7"l x 4"h x 3"w. It comes with the original box which has seen better days. The label is mostly intact though. The toy itself has some paint loss as shown in the photos and dust from storage. The wheel turns freely in both directions. I see no breaks, cracks or repairs. I have the smaller model of this toy also listed -- check my other auctions.
