This is a nice lot of vintage and more modern religious medals and similar items. Some need cleaning, some are in worn condition, some are great. I am giving a very limited description but if you see a medal about which you would like more information, please e-mail. T are two items which I think are considered pocket shrines but I'm not sure this is the correct name. One is St. Jude and is from the Rosary Shrine of that saint in Detroit, Michigan. It is marked CREED. The other appears to be Jesus. The relic is from Fatima and I believe it contains earth/soil from that site. The large one with blue enamel is St. Christopher and the back is very scuffed/scratched. T is one medal with JOANNES XXIII and this has a little window on back that looks like a relic holder but I'm not sure. T is one that is STERLING with St. Jude on one side and Jesus on the other and this has an attached clasp so it can be worn on a charm bracelet if desired. T is a group of Mary medals which are very lightweight like tin and these might be newer - not sure. T are quite a few that are the same. One St. Jude metal is very worn. T is a cross-shaped metal with "I AM A CATHOLIC PLEASE CALL A PRIEST" on it. T is another with an Arts & Crafts Movement or Art Deco design with the Call A Priest thing on it, too. It's a larger, oval medal with neat scenes on it. T's an Our Lady of Fatima, yet another St. Jude (one of my favorite saints, by the way) and a goldtone with Jesus on one side and Mother Mary with Baby Jesus on the other side. The goldtone bracelet you see needs a clasp and this has a pretty Mary medal on it. The necklace chain is gold filled but has knots an is missing the loop into which the clasp would fasten. T is one that appears to be a charm or pendant and I think it has St. Christopher on it but t is no name and this one is sterling or at least the ring at top is marked 925. T is a fairly old St. Anthony with a unique shape. One that feels like tin with blue "enamel" is KATERI LILY OF THE MOHAWKS. More St. Jude, more Mary. One small cross-shaped medal with Mary. One lightweight that says HOLY CHILDHOOD ASSOCIATION. Really a neat group. I will be listing more religious items soon. Please see my eBay store, Anneteex and Collectibles , for more great items. Boxes, doilies, jewelry displays, etc. are for picture-taking purposes only and are not included with auction items unless otherwise stated. I believe in GREAT customer service and I encourage you to e-mail with questions or to request additional pictures but I ask that you give me ample time to answer. I am not always near the computer on the day that auctions are ending. Shipping and handling to be paid by high bidder will be $3.50. We typically ship via first class if an item is light enough and "handling" is whatever is left over. WE COMBINE SHIPPING. You do not HAVE to buy insurance or delivery confirmation but we suggest at least one for all items. Insurance covers you in case of loss or damage, delivery confirmation does not. It provides you, however, with a way of tracking the progess of your package. We take great care in packaging and mailing your purchases but we can't be responsible for the actions of the USPS. If you would like to BUY delivery confirmation, please let us know IN ADVANCE OF PAYING FOR YOUR ITEM(S) and we can add this to your invoice . Personal checks are fine but t is a 7-10 business day hold for items paid for in this manner. Thanks for respecting this policy. Buyers from other countries are welcome but will pay more for shipping. Thanks for looking!
