I am selling a VINTAGE, MODERNIST, ASIAN vase with a beautiful, marbled RED PATINA. Iâe(tm)m not sure if it is heavy enough to be BRONZE (it weighs about 1-1/2 pounds), so it might be copper (a magnet does NOT stick to it). Iâe(tm)m pretty sure it is JAPANESE, probably made in the mid-1900's. A makerâe(tm)s mark is on the bottom, but I never could find any information on it. HOW BIG IS IT? It is 9-1/2 inches tall and 12 inches in circumference at its widest. The football-shaped top is 3-1/2 inches by a little less than 1-7/8 inches. WHAT CONDITION IS IT IN? (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS) T is 1 very shallow dent (I didnâe(tm)t even notice it until just now) on the side near the base and t are light nicks and scratches on the surface. The dent and most of the marks are isolated to one side, so it displays very well. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS.
