VINTAGE MOTHER GOOSE DECO GLASS BEADED BRASS BROOCH - VERY DECO!!This is a lovely and very novel, extremely unique vintage glass beaded "Mother Goose" styled oval shaped unfinished brass brooch - absolutely fabulous. We adopted the name "Mother Goose" as the bead on this brooch features a fantastic depiction of a beautiful Mother Goose, dressed fantastic in a black high hat white collar & sleeves, a flowing tealish greenish cape & dress with pink cuffs. Her facial features can even be depicted as they are quite intricate. She is sitting atop a handsome white and grayish goose, his grand wings extended and finely detailed in shades of silvers. His little duck feet and beak are an orange in color. She is holding him on silver reins. She is riding him against a yellow circle when we believe to be the moon. And the glorious background of this pin is black with white dots of fairy dust and light blue twinkling stars. To be perfectly honest, of all the pieces we have ever dealt in, this particular stone by far, happens to be my personal favorite!! The bead is very, very old & was imported from Czechoslavakia in the mid through late 40's. The bead is handpainted, finely detailed & intricate.
