This Vase is in excellent condition. Stamped Nippon hand painted, dates it before 1921 as it does not have Japan labeled any where on vase. The vase is approx. 9" from bottom to top of handle, approx. 7" wide. No chips, cracks or repairs from what I can see. We are also selling a bowl set that is of the same maker, etc.Nippon porcelain was manufactured between 1891 and 1921. In 1921, the United States government required that all porcelain made by the Nippon Corporation must be labeled with "Japan" from that time forward. These vases and decorative items were hand-painted and produced for the European and United States markets. They were sold in dime stores, grocery stores and common department stores.Posted with eBay Mobile
