Vintage nun's 15 decade FIRE OPALINE Rosary. This is as good as it gets, unless it is Saphiret. This Fire Opaline is similiar to Saphiret, as the color in the beads are changing colors all the time, and in the dark, they are yet another color. I would probably call this and the other opaline that I have listed the closest to Saphiret then anything else on the market. You can see the blues, the pinks, violet, the colors are phenonominal. You can see the beauty and the been attributed to this beautiful 15 decade rosary with all the beads all accounted for in the rosary. The Paters are a crystal clear with a white core, for more intense spinning off of the Mater beads and reflecting onto the Pater beads. The rosary also has a lot of gorgeous medals at every decade. The Crucifix & center medal are of the early 1900's. The cross is 1 3/4" by 1 1/8". The raised Corpus and Starburst Center Ring Surrounding Christ's head is so beautiful. The center medal is tombstone style, with the Blessed Virgin Mary & the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the reverse, made of brass, as well as the chain on the rosary made of brass. The length of the rosary is 39 1/2" long, with a drop of 6" and a circumference of 66". The medals: Heart shaped medal near cross is enameled blue both sides, with the BVM & Lourdes, a 9 Way Cross, Infant of Prague, St.Anne de Beaupre, Scapular medal of the Sacred Heart & Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, another scapular medal, St.Charbel, another St.Anne de Beaupre, another scapular which is enameled, the Blessed Virgin Mary & the Miraculous Medal, St.Anne de Beaupre, Our Lady of Notre Dame du Cap, Basilica, the BVM & Miraculous Medal, St.Anne de Beaupre, Our Blessed Virgin Mary, Sacred Heart, Our Lady of Mt.Carmel, another scapular medal. There are a lot of the enameled medals on the rosary, I just did not name every one. This is magnificent, and you can just see yourself praying on these beads, as they are so gorgeous that I can't think of anyone not wanting this rosary. 15 decade rosaries are not too common anymore, there are more and more people collecting the one's that they can find. This is a absolutely must have in the rosary world. The fire, the grace, the peace of praying with a rosary like this is both soul searching and very calming.
