Vintage Occupied Japan DRAGON SEASHELL CHERUB Figurine · measures 7" tall x 8½" across x 5" deep Up for auction is a vintage (1947-1952) Occupied Japan figurine. Look closely at the detail on this gorgeous bisque / porcelain statue. This figurine features a WINGED DRAGON Head on the front of the large bottom seashell with a Cherub sitting on the seashell - t is another seashell on top with another Cherub standing on it. Notice the outstanding details on the seashells including the gold trim on the raised dots - t is also gold trim on the rims and in the eyes of the dragon. The wonderful hand-painted details are shown on the faces of the Cherubs and on the shades of orangish-yellow on the shells. The bottom is imprinted "Hand Painted Made in Occupied Japan". Condition The Figurine is in EXCELLENT Condition with NO Chips, NO Cracks, NO Crazing, and NO Repairs. Sorry about the light reflections (shadows, white lights and white spots) in the photo.
