For Auction today at NO RESERVE we offer a wonderful White OPALINE Vintage Vanity Box or Casket. Measuring 6" X 3" X 2.5" it is being sold in excellent preowned vintage condition, we do find some very minor scuffs on the underside along with a flake approx 1/4" with No depth we thought it might be a makers logo but even with a eyepiece we can not make it out. T are NO chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing, the metal band (brass, bronze)? inside and out is also in excellent condtion we like the patina as is but the new owner could polish it if they choose. It has a lock but NO key, we don't know its age and estimate mid to late 1800's origin French?. All sides are beveled both top and bottom which gives it a very elegant look and Classic style.
