The same scene is repeated on the cups as is on the plates, and the interior of each cup is a lovely iridescent pale yellow/orange, with gold detailing on the handle. The tea pot carries the same pattern as the cup and plate. It is accented with gold on the spout, handle, and finial. The bottoms of the tea pot and the plates are marked "Handpainted - Made in Japan" and t are two diamond shapes overlapping each other, both with a "T" in their middle.I doubt if this set was used much as the condition is excellent.
