Offering up for your consideration this Lovely, Ornate, Easel Style, Picture Frame. I purchased this recently at an Estate Sale in Florida and could not find out anything about it. I believe that it is Cast Iron covered with a gold colored coat or a Brass coating. The actual frame around the glass in back is a shiney, smooth, brass color, with a patina. Magnet does not stick. The glass is worn at the top and top corners. There is a touch of red on the inside of a few of the designs. This frame is 9" High and 6 1/2" at the base. It is quite heavy. A very unusual frame. I can find no markings. Thank-you for looking.
