Pair of Portuguese Bordallo Pinheiro Majolica 'Begonia Leaf' Dishes c1920 A Beautiful pair of Portuguese majolica begonia leaf dishes reflecting the Victorian love of foliage plants. Produced by Manuel Gustavo Bordalo Pinheiro (1867-1920), the second generation of this famous majolica factory based in Caldas. Rare to find a pair in this condition! Both pieces are painted in coloured glazes of deep pink, yellow ochre and green; lovely pieces in great condition. No chips, cracks . Each plate has a printed backstamp 'Bordalo Pinheiro, Caldas da Rainha, Made in Portugal'. They measure approx 10" x 9"
