Fantastic vintage foliate brooch featuring the fabulous heliotrope Swarovski crystal in a margarita or flower shape. We've seen others describe almost every specialty color Swarovski rhinestone/crystal as heliotrope, but this is the REAL true heliotrope color. Primarily purple with deep blue and aqua highlights, it is very similar to Bermuda blue, but that has more shades of green in it. But we digress........This piece is done in antique gold tone and resembles WEISS and other manufacturers, but is unsigned. In addition to the margaritas, there are also violet and heliotroe chaton accents. Although the brooch is in overall very good condition, we noticed when we examined the back that there may have been a small branchlet broken off. It isn't noticeable as worn and we've considered that in the price.Still a gorgeous,weighty brooch for your winter coat or other heavier fabric garment. Measures approx. 2 1/4" x 1 3/4".
