Up for auction is a very rare celluloid advertising pocket knife made by Parisian Novelty Company in Chicago. Blades are stamped PARISIAN NOV. CO. CHIC. The knife has to be around 100 years old and is in wonderful near mint condition. The only wear is on one blade that was sharpened. T appears to be a manufacturing defect in the printing ink on the word "Co.". This is one helluva piece (not the sesame treat) for the serious knife or advertising collector!! The knife is from Central City Chemical Co. Manufacturers of Forma-Germkill Fumigators. 1519-21 N. Wood St., Chicago, Ill. Length of knife when closed is approx. 3 1/4 inches. Photo may appear dark on a CRT monitor, but is fine on a LCD monitor. Any questions or need more pics, please don't hesitate to ask. Any white/light areas are from the camera flash. Buyer to pay $3.99 1st Class Mail, or your choice, $5.99 Priority Mail/handling/packaging (in a box) in the USA. Payment of item to be received in 5 days. Insurance is optional but suggested and it will be offered on the winner's invoice. The cost of insurance is based on the final auction price. The scale is as follows: $0.01 to $50.00 is $1.35, 50.01 to 100.00 is 2.35, 100.01 to 200.00 is 3.35. With cost increasing by $1 for each $100 increment. I do my best to describe my items honestly.
