Vintage Red Fiestaware Bud Vase - By Homer Laughlin Co.Very faint quality control mark can be seen on the stamp from the original casting (see third picture above) indicating it is a vintage piece. Piece is in Great condition with no visible chips. There are several hairline cracks from down from the top of the piece (none of them meet). There is also some dirt or discoloration on the inside base of the item that could potentially be cleaned. Still being made today in the original molds, so be carefull with picking these up cheap - post 1986 ones will look so much like the originals. It is not uncommon to find these with numerous pops in the glaze, but what a good art deco design. They measure about 6 1/4" tall. Remember, number or letter stamps in the base of the pottery is a pre-1986 mark that was used as a quality control measure, so if you have pieces with numbers or letters, rest assured that they are vintage.
