For your consideration is a charming, vintage, clown figurine by Ron Lee. This is one of his earlier creations titled "Denny Eating Ice Cream". It is signed by the artist and was made in 1982. It is #305 in the "Ron Lee World of Clowns" book. It is featured on page 95. Denny has a smile on his face as he examines his double decker ice cream cone. His outfit is gold with red striped pants. He has a red collar and shoes. There is a blue and pink decoration on the front of his clown suit. He has a gold pointed hat with pink, green and orange balls. This figurine/sculpture has been well cared for and is in very good condition. Three felt dots have been applied to the bottom of the sculpture to retard scratching of your wood or glass surfaces. Overall the piece measures 4 inches high and approximately 4 inches wide. It sits on a polished onyx base that measures 4 by 2 1/2 inches and is 1 1/2 inches thick.. All Ron's older figurines are hand painted over pewter and trimmed in 24 K gold plate. These break easily in shipping so it will be well packed in a double box. Buyer will be responsible for the fee to mail the figurine . I pack well so don't worry. Please check my Ebay site for other outstanding Ron Lee clowns and interesting collectibles. I prefer not to combine these pieces for mailing. They can break quite easily. I list new things
