RARE VINTAGE PY UCAGCO Early Provincial Pattern Rooster & RosesRecipe Holder, Rack and Spice Jars Made in Japan Just look at this Vintage Rooster and Roses Wooden Spice Rack with Recipe Box and 2 Spice Jars in the Early Provincial pattern. This Stunning Rack is 7 7/8" tall by 6" across. And what a beautiful item! In keeping with the traditional Rooster & Roses pattern, a lovely, bold rooster flannked by roses adorns the front side of the Recipe Card Holder. He has a golden breast and vivid red wattle, comb, and wing . His tail is a luxurious grey-Black . The jars, namely Salt & Pepper, have stylized Roses in shades of Pink and Burgandy as handles with Forest Green foliage and scrolling stylized Rose Vines . The bottom rims of each jar and Holder are golden with tawny cross-hatchings , again, typical for the Early Provincial pattern. The Wood Rack is in great original condition. The Recipe Holder has a tiny slightly darkened area that may bleach out and one crazing mark or maybe the start of a tiny hairline on one side. Listed in the Omaha Crockery Company Inclusive Guide to Early Provincial Pattern Ucagco as part of the Provincial Gourmet Ware Line . EXCELLENT CONDITION.
