Vintage Rosko Charlie Charley Weaver Bartender Tin LithoBattery Op Toy This is a great Charlie Weaver Bartender with mustache tin litho toy built from the 1950-60’s era in operating condition. He needs two (2) D cell batteries (not included) and he’s ready to go! He goes through a series of six actions: Shakes drink shaker Pours drink from shaker to glass Lifts glass to mouth and takes a drink Face lights up turning red Puckers and smacks his lips Sways back and forth Tubes are in his ears for smoke to roll out (but there is no smoke) Has original cardboard that reads in part: If bartender ceases to emit smoke, it means that the batteries are weak. There are several websites giving direction on how to get his ears to smoke. Wears glasses Wears hat Mustached Rosko Tested sticker still on bottom Stands 12” high on a 5-1/8” square base Tin Lithograph Off/On Switch Front of bar reads: Charley Weaver Bartender Within a heart it reads: Elsie Krack Was Here Charley has a segment of hair missing in the back (see Pictures); or, it may be part of the character.
