Western Electric OLD ROTARY DIAL TELEPHONEClassic Black MODEL 500 SUPERB CONDITION AND 100% FULLY FUNCTIONAL ! This is an original vintage 500 series rotary dial telephone. Manufactured for the Bell Telephone System by the Western Electric Company. The cosmetic condition is absolutely superb with only a few very minor light blemishes. The outer shell of the phone and handset are extraordinarily clean with a beautiful luster shine. All of the numbers and letters on the dial are bright and clear with none being faded or scratched. Electrical condition is 100% functional and has been connected and thoroughly tested for operation. Its rotary dial mechanism operates smooth and normally with clockwise and automatic return motion. The phone dials out fine and has an old fashion ring with a set of real internal bells that work fine too. T is also a volume control on the bottom to adjust the loudness of the bells for incoming calls. The coiled cord on the handset is completely intact and all of the connections are good. The sound quality of the handset is crystal clear from both ends of the conversation. The phone is complete with a 7 ft. wall cord having a standard modular jack.
