vintage ROYAL COPLEY "LITTLE WREN" Bird Figurine v Measures approximately 3-1/2" tall x 3-3/4" long x 2" wide Up for auction is a vintage (1940's to 1950's) Royal Copley Figurine in the shape of a Bird. This piece is ceramic with a gloss glaze finish and the colors are airbrushed under the glaze. Look closely at the details on this little wren. The bottom of the figurine is an "open bottom". A picture of this piece is shown in Devine & Wolfe's book "Collector's Guide to Royal Copley, Book 2" with a 1999 value (7 years ago) of $30-$32. History of ROYAL COPLEY : Spaulding China Company, the pottery that produced Royal Copley began operation in early 1942 at Sebring , Ohio and continued until the factory closed in 1957. Condition This piece is in EXCELLENT Condition with NO Chips, NO Cracks, No Stains and NO Repairs. T is overall crazing which is not very noticeable since t are no stains in the crazing.
