Vintage Royal Winton 4.5 ins Jug in Blue Tulip This is an early piece of Royal Winton chintz, I believe dating from the early 1930s, the backstamp in pale green reads simply Grimwades, Royal Winton, Ivory England, and some numbers in blue. The jug is also embossed underneath with the words DUTCH which believe was the name given to this style of jug The Blue Tulip pattern itself is very early and the colour is good but has wear marks to the pattern due to age which we have tried to show on the picture and still think this is a lovely piece to add to any collect ion The jug would originally have been trimmed in blue but this has worn off with age Nice display piece Condition There is pattern wear scratch as above and as per pic 2 a small faint hairline on the inside rim 4.5 INS TALL
