~Auctions from... the-storm-seller~ Description: This vase was a lamp, I removed the top and the bottom, the bottom wood was all cracked and broken and the top was bent, if you win this auction and would like those pieces I still have them and you are welcome to them but you will have to let me know at the end of auction. It is in excellent condition, the pics of the one side close up shows a couple of white spots on the paint, they are smooth so I am not sure if the paint flecked years ago or it was missed or? T is a very short factory crack on the bottom coming from the hole in the pottery you can see in the pic by the hole on the bottom of the vase lamp, that was done in the manufacturing process. It is marked on the bottom Hand Painted Made in Japan and looks like is was signed but I cannot read Japanese so I do not know what it says inside the box t, it has five different symbols/writing t It also has a label that reads 557-2. It stands 1ft tall and is very gorgeous, the crackle on this piece is amazing and has beautiful gold around the opening, the floral design and colors are very very nice, no chips, cracks, or breaks. A beautiful piece of Japanese Pottery! If t is anything in particular that you have a question about please feel free to email and I will try to answer the best I can. ~Please check out our other auctions read more
