Up for auction is this vintage schatz 400 day anniversary clock measuring 12" tall by 7" wide and is working. It takes a standard size key which I do not have and is slightly tarnished but can be cleaned up. It has three adjustable dials for leveling and has a four ball locking pendulum. The front face is square and is signed Schatz made in germany and the back states that t is No(0) Jewels adjusted, a 6 and 54. It also has AUG. SCHATZ AND SOHNE GERMANY 49 in a circle. I believe it was made in 1950. NOTICE: Clock will NOT run if it is not level. All Torsion Wire Pendulums are pointed on the bottom, and the point MUST be in the exact center of the cup beneath it. This is easily done by adjusting the 3 thumb screws around the base. Spin the pendulum about 2 1/2 turns. Thanks for looking. Ron
