VINTAGE STAFFORDSHIRE UNIQUELY HAND PAINTED CAT SEATED ON CUSHION This is a superb vintage Staffordshire cat seated on a red cushion. It is beautifully handpainted and the black spots are applied in such a unique manner they have lacy spiderweb edges and the white is a crackle glaze. It is marked "Made in England" in orange on the underside. It measures 7-1/2" high and the base is 3" x 4-3/4". The hand painting is in great condition with no wear or chipping or crazing. T is one flaw, a minor chip on the back base foot which is mostly on the underside and not visible from the front or side. Enjoy !
