Welcome! Up for your consideration is a vintage Stanard Motor Oil bottle complete with the spout and cap for the spout. The cap for the spout is quite rare as this was usually lost. T is a patent number on the spout that dates it to 1931. I have two of these if you need more than one. Description: Vintage Standard motor oil bottle complete with the spout and spout cap. A very rare find! Approximate measurements: The bottle is 15 1/4" tall including the spout. The bottle has a 3 3/8" diameter. Markings: Standard Oil Company Service (complete with the torch symbol) Indiana, 1 Liquid Qt to Line, 48 Minn, 9i41 (on bottle) U.S. Patent No 1840283 (on spout) Condition: No cracks breaks or chips. T are some flaws or bubbles in the glass. The spout has what appears to be a stainless steel coating which is pealing off in areas. T are a few minor dents in the spout & cap. Additional information: Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that t may be casting flaws. I will declare all major casting flaws that I find.
