Auction is for a 1984 Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Imperial Shuttle Vehicle. Includes box, internal packing material, ship and instruction manual. This is a beautiful piece- the shuttle is really nice color, no staining or yellowing from age. Stickers are applied expertly and are in great shape. Wings work great and all the guns rotate and move as they're supposed to. The pictures on the box look sharp, and the box itself is in generally very good condition, although there is some staining on the upper portion of one side and part of the top. However, there is none of the deformation you would associate with moisture. This item has been stored in a smoke free, pet free area and has never been played with. It was purchased, new, by an adult and didn't have to endure the rigors or damage that a child could do to it. However, batteries were placed in it and removed at some point. The battery compartment has some corrosion on the positive terminals. The sound effects on this shuttle don't work. I'm not sure if that's only because the contacts are dirty or if it's something else. The electronics on these old toys are simple, and should be a relatively easy fix, but I will leave it up to the buyer to address that as they see fit. I have not scoured the contacts or attempted to open the vehicle in any way. I will be posting a lot more read more
