We have been extremely fortunate to have aquired a small number of perfect vintage hand made silver chains and other vintage silver items from the estate of a Church silversmith in Peru . These pieces were recently released to us and have our unconditional gurantee to be .950 sterling silver and hand made. The piece you are bidding on a is a 27 inch hand made sterling silver, flexible rope link chain; ideal for hanging a relicario or a pectoral cross. The diameter of the chain is 1/8 th of an inch and the gram weight is 25 . Its locking mechanism is fail-safe, as you can see from the close up pictures. To thread the chain into the bail of the relicario or cross, the look mechanism should be in its fully open position; it is the part that goes in first, not the male end or loop. Once the chain lock is closed nothing can come off this chain! I only a have a very few and they will go to the highest bidder. Good luck bidding!
