Features: This is a very nice vintage heavy thick hinge bangle bracelet. Made of sterling silver. Beautifully Taxco, Guerreo Mexican custom made with very impressive custom made smith workmanship , giving the appearance as if 2 bangles on wrist , though it's one bangle, of course. by silver smith artist FHV. Bracelet is well made in a round shaped design. Opens and shuts just fine with strong spring hinge for easy and secured fastening. It's very heavy. Weighs: 38.3 grams . Pardon any photo glare. In excellent condition. Hallmark and Marks: "925 (sterling), MEXICO" with Taxco registration mark: "TH-103 " , registered maker is FHV as authenciated on p.267 Bille Hougart's new revised refference book: "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" . No further info on full name of this maker. It's possible H is Master smith Hector with 2 other artist under him. Bracelet's workmanship looks older than much of the 2 letter # marks of post mid 1970's to '80's. On page 10 of same NEW REVISED book, it does book provides some light which explains that this type of registration mark was also not added by the maker but added years later on older peices by many reputable Mexican dealers (whom had access to wholesale data linked to maker), whom years later added registration mark on older pieces.
