This is a beautiful vintage litho tin advertising sign for the Stickney & Poor Spice Company in a vintage wooden frame. The background is dark red with a large yellow mustard can in the center, a pepper box in the left lower corner and a ginger box in the right lower corner with the words "Founded 1815" under the mustard can. The letters are gold outlined in black. I believe the date of this sign is the early 1900s. On the back are stenciled the words "Geo. F. Prescott, East Bethany, N.Y." Also, there is a 2" spot of rust in the lower lefthand corner on the front and a couple of scratches in the red paint, the major ones being about halfway up on the lefthand side of the sign and one above the "E" in the word Stickney. The wooden frame has some scratching on the edges with the most being on the top edge and front of the frame. There is also a shallow dent in the right upper corner of the sign. There is uniform age crazing on the sign, but overall, it is a very nice sign with a great vintage
