I found this 1965 Strombecker Formula 1 #9920, 3 lane race set in a barn. It has some slight surface rust, but overall the track appears to be in good condition. I found on the internet that the set was made for one year in 1965. There should be one more straight track; then you could make a figure 8 track. There are 3 rheostats: on needs to have some wire wrapped, and has a hairline crack on the white collar (picture 6). There are 8 white rail pieces; a couple have cracks on their posts. The blue transformer looks to be fine, but it has some paint loss. There are no cars with this set . I have included 2 pieces of extra wire. I did not test the track ; I did not have any cars. Please use the pictures for your final quality check. The set has a weight of about 10 lbs. Thank you. I found 7 more white guardrails: 6 are longer and fit better on the curves. The smaller rails that are pictured do not fit very well. These extra rails need to be cleaned and several have splits. The splits could be reattached with a little glue.
