Cereal Bowl in Stansbury Pattern by Syracuse China This listing is for a cereal bowl in the Stansbury pattern in the Federal shape of fine china by Syracuse China, made in U.S.A. This popular pattern is featured on page 264 of Harry L. Rinker's Dinnerware of the 20th Century: The Top 500 Patterns. This vintage pattern was discontinued in 1969. The ivory-white fine china dinnerware is decorated with delicate pink flowers and light green foliage trailing around the inner wall and three clusters on the outer wall. The decoration is similar to Haviland Limoges china patterns of an earlier period. The inner wall has six areas of low embossed flutes and gold on the scalloped edge and a gold line on the base. The cereal bowl measures 5 inches in diameter at the rim and 1 7/8 inches deep. This cereal bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. T are some light utensil marks seen with reflected light and slight wear on the gold trim with about 5-10% loss of the gold. The red back stamp reads, "Federal Shape, Syracuse China, Made in America." Click to see more of this pattern and other great items up for auction and available in our ebay store!
