I am selling several pieces from my extensive collection of Tibetan and Chinese antiques and curiosities. These are all extraordinary objects, collected over the past several years. Please be sure to check my other listings! This item is a Tibetan double drum DAMARU, used in Buddhist ceremonies. It is made of cast sterling silver, in a delicate floral motif, with turquoise and coral stones. T is a decorative brocade banner attached. The drum top is made of animal hide. Measures 5 1/2 X 4 X 2 1/2", banner is 18" long. The weight is 1 pound.
