Recently helped clean out a friend’s house and came acrossthis lot of vintage toys. I suspect these were kept by “Grandma” for the kidsto play with when they visited. Rather than list them separately we are going to put the whole lot up at one time. There are NINE (9) toys in all and as best as I can determine they date from the 1930’s up to the early 1970’s. Some are in excellent condition but all seem to look very nice. I will do my best to describe each. #1 MY MIXER: (Early 1960’s) Made by the Gilbert Company…Plastic hand mixer and scale. Includes receipes and molds for baking. Original instructions are here as well and rather delicate so I put them in a plastic sleeve. The box display well and is complete and even includes original cardboard inserts to hold things in place. #2 PHOTOING ON CAR: (1960’s-1970’s) Battery operated tin car. Cleaned the contacts and the car runs fine…backs up, goes forward, girl turns and camera takes flash picture. Japanese maker. A little dusty and the drivers arms are loose but should be an easy fix and it still displays great! #3 MELODY TOY No. 190 ( 1950’s) Made by the Chein Company. A Beautiful display piece. Still spins and makes noise. Box top is off but included in bottom of box! #4DONALD DUCK (1970?s) Appears to be a battery operated toy but can’t open it and it is not working. Still looks read more
