Vintage 1950's/1960's/1970's local Pennsylvania fireman firemen complete very heavy duty bunker turnout coat jacket uniform."BLH Chief". This very rare and hard to find fire fighter firefighter authentic Baldwin Locomotive Works fire chief coat is extremely well-made and has a sewn-in red plaid lining liner. The tag reads "The Globe, The Suit That Suits, Made By Globe Mfg. Co., Pittsfield, N. H." with "Johnson" written in ink on the "Name" line. I believe BLH stands for "Baldwin Locomotive Hose" the fire department division of the now closed Baldwin Locomotive Works of Eddystone, Pennsylvania. It came from the estate of a local Baldwin employee. This coat is in good complete condition with use wear and fabric color fading. It will probably need a cleaning. There is no size listed and I am guessing it is a medium to medium large for someone 5'9" to 5'10" of average build. It is sold as is and as pictured. Returns will not be accepted. $16.00 postage.
