The Waterford Alana pattern is one of Waterford Crystal's heritage patterns. Alana's diamond relief pattern that was made famous in the 1950's This Alana pattern was manufactured for 58 years by the Waterford Crystal company before being discontinued. Alana is the Gaelic term for "Darling" or"Darling Child", and it is quite a charming cut and design. The diamond cut is in the best tradition of Waterford and indeed of all fine cut crystal.
