Detailed Description & enlarged images to follow shortly. VINTAGE WEDGWOOD BLACK BASALT VASE TEXTURED AND DOUBLE GOLD BANDED BODY ORIGINAL STICKER OR TAG, ROBERT MINKIN,? DESIGNER, HEAVY, VERY GOOD CONDITION, ***PLEASE VIEW ALL IMAGES BELOW AND READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION*** Up for auction is this great vintage Wedgwood black basalt vase. The body of the vase has a textured surface with two heavy gold bands around it. The vase is quite heavy weighing about 2 1/2 ponds and is approximately 5 1/2" tall. The piece has no chips, cracks, or repairs but does have some tiny white spots in the textured area. The original Wedgwood sticker is still attached to the bottom of the piece and lists the shape number. If you collect Wedgwood pottery or porcelain, especially black basalt pieces this may be one for your collection.
