You are bidding on a vintage, western-style, cartridge, double-fold money belt. The belt is marked "R.M. Bachman, Kalispell, Mont.". The total length of the belt from one end to the other is 42". The length from the end with the buckle to the 3rd of 5 holes is 38". The width of the belt is 3 inches. The belt is cut from a 6-inch piece of pebble-grain calfskin leather, which is folded over and sewn shut along the main seam. The belt has a small slot cut under the buckle where coins and bills can be inserted. The belt has 32 cartridge loops that fit 45LC, 44WCF, or 38WCF ammo. The third to last photo shows the three different size cartridges in the belt. All fit equally well. These cartridges, of course, ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. The belt is marked W38 and C45, indicating the waist size and cartridge size. My husband's waist size is 38 and the belt is tight around him, so in his opinion it would be a better fit for someone with a 36-inch or smaller waist. To assist you in deciding whether the belt is the proper fit for you, I measured the circumference of the belt with it buckled on the middle of the 5 holes with a tape measure, and it is 36". Buckled on the very last end hole it is about 38". How well the belt fits is of course dependent on how thick the clothing is underneath it and how low or high on the waist you wish to wear read more
